Happy Saturday and Memorial Day Weekend, everyone!
We spent the morning at the Decatur Arts Festival, one of our favorite events in our neck of the woods. I saw an artist there that seemed familiar, so I stopped by. Her name is Lulu and I love, love her art.
If that lettering and those bright colors look familiar, you might remember it from my daughter’s green room:
I bought those hearts from her booth at a different festival before M was born – so, about six years ago! (P.S. You can still buy hearts like that today from her.)
I love how everything she uses, including the booth itself, is made from upcycled and recycled materials.
And the colors are so bright and happy.
What did I buy, you might ask? Well, this reminded me of a certain dog who doesn’t eat pizza:
I bought the same dog with a pink crown, because, well, Bear is a girl.
Now hanging in our living room!
Go see Lulu at the Decatur Arts Festival and tell her Karen at Dogs Don’t Eat Pizza sent you. You can also find her on Facebook.
Have a great weekend, y’all! I’d love to know what you’re up to!
Thanks for stopping by!
