I love a good challenge! I’m joining The Everyday Home Blog and the four fabulous co-hosts for this month’s Dollar Store Challenge. The challenge this month is to use the dollar store candleholders pictured above in a project.
This is what I created: a bathroom tray for soaps, candles, and other goodies.
I also got the “silver” tray and the heart-shaped bowl holding the soaps at the dollar store.
I glued the candlesticks to the tray, then weighted the tray down with books to make sure it adhered to the candlesticks.
This was an easy project that brought some bling to my blah bathroom. (I have a thing for alliteration.) And the total cost? Four candlesticks, one tray, one heart-shaped dish = $6.00.
Do you shop at dollar stores? What are your favorite things to buy there?
