I was invited to participate in the Tide OXI Challenge – it’s a throwdown involving cleaning something in one’s home with Tide OXI Multi-Purpose Stain Remover. And, boy, do I have a challenge: the kids’ tub.
We just moved into a 1929 bungalow, and the kids’ bathtub looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since 1929. Not only had it not been used in a while, but we had to gut that bathroom, so there’s dirt and bootprints and construction yuck in the tub, too.
P&G sent me a Home Depot gift card to purchase a tub of Tide OXI Multi-Purpose Stain Remover for this challenge. I grabbed my tub, a scrub brush, and a rag and set off to scrub-a-dub the tub.
When I tell you the tub was dirty, it was DIRTY. Seriously dirty.
I poured the Tide OXI into a bucket with warm water…
…wondering if it was really going to get all the yuck and muck out of that tub. Fingers crossed.
I used both the rag and the scrub brush, although the brush worked best at getting off the tough stains on the tub.
Clean! BOOM! Tide OXI, 1. Tub, 0.
I’m really pleased with how clean the Tide OXI got the tub.
OK, so I might have embellished that picture a teeny bit, but you get the idea. For real, it got the tub shiny clean.
You can use Tide OXI to clean the bathtub, like I did, or in your wash, or on upholstery, or any number of more than 200 uses! (Use as directed, of course.) Need something clean? You can #Tidethat.
Maybe now my daughter will take a bath in this tub without a fight.
Thanks for stopping by!
P&G provided a Home Depot gift card to me to purchase this product, but all opinions in this post are 100% my own. Honest and for true.
