I can’t believe it…we’re on Day 29 of Thirty Days of Gratitude! The penultimate day! (OK, I just wanted to say “penultimate.” It’s one of my favorite words.)
On this day, and every day, I am so grateful for my friends.
From coffee at play dates to girls’ nights out to bringing dinner or a bottle of wine over when needed, my friends are the best. I treasure the time I have with them. With two kids and a full-time job, it’s hard to find time to spend with my friends. But, when I do get to spend time with them, we have the best time and I always feel recharged and refreshed and lucky afterwards.
And I’m glad that Facebook has allowed me to stay connected with friends from all periods of my life. Through Facebook, I have reconnected with friends from camp, college, law school, and even elementary school.
I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made through blogging, too. They have been so helpful and inspirational to me. We share ideas and information, and we encourage each other. And I love how they understand my need to rearrange furniture and paint all the things, and celebrate with me when I fix my toilet.
So, today, thank you to my friends. I am so incredibly grateful for you.
